Founders

Perico PC was founded in 1966 by Dr. Gerald M. Kramer. Perico PC operated out of a white house by the ocean in Swampscott, Massachusetts. This same building houses the main office of the Perico Group to this day.

Dr. Myron Nevins joined Dr. Kramer in 1967, followed by Dr. Gary Reiser in 1970. The doctors maintained their primary practice in Swampscott, but also travelled to Maine to provide periodontal care. In 1973, Dr. Roger Wise joined the practice, followed by Dr. James Hanratty in 1986. It would be 20 years before Dr. Simon Bernstein joined in 2006 and supported Perico PC’s expansion. Dr. Thomas Sterio followed in 2012 to further sustain the expansion.  Most recently, Dr. Daniel Sabra and Dr. Rory Lock have joined the Perico family.

In 2007, Perico Implants North, Inc. (PINI) found a temporary home in Middleton, MA. In 2008, Perico’s office in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston quickly followed. In 2011, PINI found a permanent home in Wakefield, MA when it purchased an existing dental practice. PINI provides a central, easy-access location to patients along the I95 corridor while Perico Back Bay makes itself convenient to those who live or work in Boston. The Perico Group’s main office maintains its legacy at its original location in Swampscott.

Regardless of the physical location and 50 years in practice, patients can expect to receive the same superior periodontal care by a clinical staff dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. Professional staff supports efforts to provide each patient with a complete, rounded, seamless treatment experience of care and courtesy.
