Meet Sahar Dowlatshahi, D.D.S., MMSc

Dr. Dowlatshahi received her B.S in Biology, B.A in Psychology and a certificate in multicultural studies from University of Columbia-Missouri. She then moved to California to pursue her education in dentistry. After receiving her D.D.S from University of California-San Francisco (UCSF), Dr. Dowlatshahi was elected to join the periodontology program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where in addition to completing a 3-year periodontology training, she obtained her Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology.

Dr. Dowlatshahi has a special interest in regenerative procedures in periodontics. She is a published author in the Journal of Periodontology and has shared the results of her research in a poster presentation at the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP). Her extensive training in digital planning and digital dentistry has allowed her to provide her patients with personalized and comprehensive treatments.

Dr. Dowlatshahi is certified in providing IV sedation, helping her patients have a more pleasant experience. She is also certified in administering Botox and dermal fillers and has used them to provide her patients with the most esthetic results when it comes to their smile.
